  1. ” Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest! (John 4:35)

Jesus clearly stated in Matthew 13:38 “The field is the world…”

The cry comes to the ears of God from the people of the world: The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved. (Jeremiah 8:20)

The Apostle Paul said: “I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision. (Acts 26:19)

  2. No matter what your circumstances, no matter how hopeless your situation my seems, God is faithful, hold on to His promises.

Face your hopelessness with assurance that ” what He has promised, He is able also to perform.” (Romans 4:21)

“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.” (Heb 10:23)

  3. Volunteering costs you something. It costs you time, money, energy and commitment. You have to sacrifice time otherwise spent on work, family, house or personal matters. It is sometimes uncomfortable. You might have to spend some time travelling to rural areas. The road is bumpy. The sun is hot. The ‘buildings’ are basic. Sometimes there are no proper toilets. The day is long and tiring.

So why do it? You can continue with you normal busy life and nothing bad will happen to you.

Or you can get out of your comfort zone and spend yourself to extend God’s kingdom in our country. The rewards are manifold: your life gets meaning, you will experience the daily realities of our communities, discover and share the warmth and resilience of our people, and see how your small contribution makes a huge difference in the lives many who are hungry for hope, love and opportunities to better themselves. You will ultimately help to change the course of our country.
Do not expect an applause, but you will find so much more…..

Mat 25:35-36 For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty , and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed M; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me. 40: .. Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.

  4. Scripture doesn’t explain what Benaiah was doing or where he was going when he crossed paths with the lion. We don’t know the time of day or his frame of mind. But Scripture does reveal his reaction, and it was a gutsy one.

    Put yourself in Benaiah’s snowshoes.

Your vision is obscured by falling snow and frozen breath. Out of the corner of your eye you detect movement. Pupils dilate. Muscles flex. Adrenaline rushes. It’s a prowling lion stalking its prey, you.

In the wild, man vs. lion scripts the same way every time. Man runs, lion chases, King of the Beasts eats manwich for lunch. But Benaiah flips the script. That’s what courage does! I don’t know if it was the look in his eye or the spear in his hand, but the lion turns tail and Benaiah gives chase.

He tracks paw prints in the freshly fallen snow, finally coming to the place where the ground has given way beneath the lion’s five-hundred-pound frame. Yellow eyes glare back from out of the pit. Benaiah takes a leap, disappearing into the darkness. A deafening roar echoes off the walls of the cavernous pit, followed by a bloodcurdling battle cry.

    Then silence, dead silence.

What has happened? Who has won?

At last a human form reaches up and climbs out of the pit. Drops of blood color the snow crimson. Claw marks crisscross Benaiah’s spear arm.

Against all odds, the valiant warrior from Kabzeel has earned an epic victory.

In every dream journey, there comes a moment when you have to quit living as if the purpose of life is to arrive safely at death. You have to go after a dream that is destined to fail without divine intervention.

You have to go big or go home.

You have to take the road less traveled or settle for status quo.

You have to bite the bullet or turn your back on your dreams.

If you find yourself in a pit with a lion on a snowy day, you’ve got a decision to make. A decision that will determine your destiny. You can run away from what you are afraid of, but you’ll be running the rest of your life. Or you can face your fears, taking a flying leap of faith, and chase the lion!

What is your “lion”? What are you going to do with it?

And Benaiah son of Jehoiada, a valiant man of Kabzeel, who had done many notable acts, slew two lionlike men of Moab. He went down also and slew a lion in a pit on a snowy day.

  5. Use What Is Already in Your Hand

One thing is certain: God always prepares us for the things He has in store for us.

When Moses asked all his frantic questions about how God would deliver His people, God responded with a question of His own. “Moses, what is in your hand?” And Moses replied, “A rod.”

Think for a minute about the absurdity of what God was asking Moses to do. He was sending this fugitive vagabond into the most powerful empire in the world to deliver His people. And all Moses had as ammunition was a stick!

Through the whole Exodus saga— all the miracles, wonders, and epic, world-changing exploits—Moses had nothing more in his hand than a stick! But when Moses did what he knew to do, when he used what was in his hand, the rest of the story began to unfold, each event triggering the next like a succession of dominoes leading all the way to the Promised Land.

Take an inventory of your life today to see what is in your hand right now. It may be people, relationships, interests, opportunities, thoughts, or dreams.Chances are that the seeds of your future have already been sown into the soil of your life. Ask God to give you the wisdom to discern them; then have the diligence to water them and the patience to wait for the harvest.

  6. Minister, do you have a “MY SHIP” mentality?

We are so busy protecting “our kingdom’s” that we lost our vision of God’s Kingdom.

Ministers are so protective of “their Church – their members” that they lost the mission that God has called them to do.

    We shouldn’t be self centered!

“For by one Spirit are we all baptized into ONE body…” (1 Cor. 12:13; Rom. 12:5).

The Biggest problem in Christianity is that there is no unity in the Body of Christ. Ministers don’t work together any more, its all about “my church, my mission, my members.” They have a ” My ship” mentality.

“But now indeed there are many members, yet one body. And the eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you”; nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.” No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary. And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it. (I Corinthians 12:20‭-‬22‭, ‬26 NKJV)

Jesus answered John, saying, “For he who is not against us is on our side.” (Mark 9:40; Luke 9:49).

If we want to see revival we must unite the Body, churches should fellowship in unity and holiness!

Let God examine your Basic Motivation, it will determine your ultimate Success!!

Is it the praise of men or a genuine desire to see the flock becomes established in God?
It is time for churches to stand in unity and love, working together to build God’s Kingdom, not their own little kingdom’s

What is your basic underlying motive?
What is it that drives you in ministry?
Do you have a desire to be recognized?

Serving for recognition can be our driving force – Fame should not be your basic desire. It will lead to failure!

Your basic motivation should be love for the sheep and love for God.

  7. Anyone who is saved is called to save souls!

“We’re told to GO and make disciples. But we often just sit and make excuses.”
    – Francic Chan

“For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power.” (1 Corinthians 4:20 NIV)

“The church does not exist to entertain the saved. It exists to train disciples to glorify God and reach the lost.”

“Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.”(Isaiah 6:8)

  8. Faith is the vital principle of prayer.

Faith is the power line, but prayer switches it on. Prayer is faith in action.

Faith removes the mountains which unbelief creates.

Secret prayer (Matthew 6:6) is the secret of prayer. The devil will try to stop you from praying because prayer stops him!

With God nothing is impossbile. He make the impossible possbile. It is impossible for God to do nothing.

God will do nothing when you expect nothing!

    Faith and Prayer = Miracles

  9. Thanksgiving is the password to the gates of God. Thanksgiving is the password to Miracles! (Luke 9:16).

Psalm 100:4 “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise…”

“Blessed are the people who know the passwords of praise, who shout on parade in the bright presence of God . Delighted, they dance all day long; they know who You are, what You do—they can’t keep it quiet!
    (Psalm 89:5‭-‬18 MSG)

When Paul and Silas were stripped and beaten and thrown into prison they sang hymns to God- they worshiped! (Acts 16:25‭-‬26)

When we worship God in Spirit and in truth no matter how impossible or difficult our situation may seem, suddenly we will experience total victory and our doors (breakthroughs) will appear. Why? Because we have used the password of Thanksgiving- Praise and Worship!

Victory can only come through praise and intimate worship.

  10. “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?

Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?

Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

“Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. (Matthew 6:25-26, 30-33)

  11. “If you want to catch fish, don’t throw your net into the bathtub.” ~ Reinhard Bonnke

“Jesus did not die for pastors to have a well paid job. Neither was He raised on the cross just to raise our standard of living. He died to seek and to save those who are lost.” ~ Reinhard Bonnke

“A man who does nothing never has time to do anything” ~ Charles H. Spurgeon

The Holy Spirit waits for us to take the first step. Then the miraculous happens. You must act. You must get “out of the boat” and trust Him.

To see God in action, we must be in action ourselves. (Matt. 28:19-20; Mark 16)

  12. In Matthew 7:7–8 Jesus is teaching about asking, seeking, and knocking. But it is important to note that the Greek implies continued action, which is why the Amplified Bible translates the passage like this: “Keep on asking and it will be given you; keep on seeking and you will find; keep on knocking and [the door] will be opened to you. For everyone who keeps on askingreceives; and he who keeps on seeking finds; and to him who keeps on knocking, [the door] will be opened”.

If the answer doesn’t come immediately, don’t be discouraged or frustrated. With expectancy and trust just lift your eyes to the hills and ask and ask again. Keep on asking. Keep on seeking. Keep on knocking. Keep on keeping on until you receive—and you will in Jesus’s name!

  14. Smiles Frans says: “Doctors tell you the facts, but God tells you the truth!”

“Surely He has borne our sicknesses and suffered our pain;…. and by His stripes healing was provided for us.” Isaiah 53:4‭-‬5 JUB

“The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we (ARE) healed.” Isaiah. 53:5

“For I am the Lord who heals you.”
    Exodus 15:26

Beloved, you ARE healed!! You don’t need something that you already have! Jesus gave His life so that you can have life. All you have to do is take it!

Take it by Faith – Confess God’s Word over you life.

Satan will bring symptoms so that you will believe you are sick, the truth is you ARE HEALED! By His stripes you ARE HEALED!

“Therefore submit to God (Rest in God’s Word and believe it! The price was paid. You are healed). Resist the devil (how? With God’s Word: see Matthew 4:4 – quote the Word. “It is written.) and he will flee from you.” James 4:7

  15. Obedience to Jesus leads to success

    * As long as (Uzziah) sought the Lord, God made him prosper. (2 Chro 26:5)

We…learn God’s will by spending time in His presence. The key to knowing God’s heart is having a relationship with Him. A personal relationship. God will speak to you from His heart to yours, we learn His will as we take time to Tabernacle with Him, just to worship Him, to hear His small still voice from His heart.

God is love! The Lion of Judah!

Do you truly know Jesus Christ?
Do you have a obedient lifestyle?
Is Jesus Christ Lord of all your heart?
Do you seek the Lord each day, by a personal relationship?

If not: seek the Lord with all your heart.

Deuteronomy 4:29…seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with *1) all your heart and with *2) all your soul.

Jeremiah 29:12 Then you will call upon Me and go and * pray to Me, and I will listen to you. 13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back from your captivity.

  16. “But without faith it is impossible to please Him…”(Hebrews 11:6). “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17).”

Joshua have give us the key; Meditate on the Word of God day and night, so that our ways may be prosperous, and have good success (Joshua 1:8).

For the Word of God works Healing…”He sent His Word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions (Psalms 107:20).”

Therefore Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life unto those that find them and medicine to all their flesh.” (Proverbs 4:22 JUB)

  17. Go deeper

How do you get in the presence of God? You remove the presence of everything else! It’s time to conquer whatever stands between you and God.

Are you content where you are? Or do you believe there’s more? I believe there’s more! Matthew 6:18 makes clear that what you do in secret, God rewards openly. When you devote yourself to Him in prayer and fasting privately, He changes things for you outwardly. God will bless you and give you favor among men.

Jacob wrestled God alone in Joel chapter 2. He went away to a secret place and fought for his blessing. God didn’t just change his name and bless him there in private, He gave Jacob favor publicly! When Esau arrived with his 400 men, rather than killing Jacob, he ran to embrace him.

God will not leave you in your desperation. He says through our fasting and weeping we turn to Him wholeheartedly. “Turn to Me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning” (Joel 2:12 NKJV). Why do we return to Him? Because He is gracious and merciful and full of kindness.

Jacob fought fiercely, refusing to let go until he was blessed. Are you willing to make temporary sacrifice for long-term gain?

There are answers waiting for you in His presence.

  18. The Greek word for HOPE is ‘elpo’ which means “to look forward to with pleasurable confidence and expectation.”

The writer of Proverbs observes that “HOPE deferred makes the heart sick (Proverbs 13:12), and Jeremiah describes the effects of hopelessness on the soul (Lamentations 3:18-20).

When Jeremiah focused on his problems he was bitter and depressed, but when he focused on God’s goodness in the past and the HOPE of what the Lord would do in the future, his attitude changed. Jeremiah said:

“This I recall to my mind, therefore i have HOPED.” (Lamentations 3:21).

“Blessed is the man who trust in the Lord, and whose HOPE is in the Lord” (Jeremiah 17:7).

Make a decision right now that you will “HOPE in the Lord from this time forth and forever!” (Psalm 131:3).

  19. Jesus Christ turns loss into gain, lack into abundance, negatives into positives, darkness into light, hate into love, bondage into freedom, failure into success, sickness into health, weakness into strength, evil into righteousness, and more – so much more.

Abundance is at the very heart of God.

Do not just insure your earthly house insure your eternal future by truly knowing Him!

  20. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you. For no evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways.” (Psalms 91:1‭, ‬7‭‭, ‬10‭-‬11)

  21. Formula For A Breakthrough
    By Jentezen Franklin

There is a common denominator to all biblical breakthroughs—they were sought after.

How often we mistakenly think worrying is the same thing as praying; that because we have an area of deep need, God will provide. We forget we have never actually asked Him for help. Sure, there are times we will experience God’s grace and kindness sporadically, He is a good God and surprises us often! But the adventure lies in the conversation. If you want to see miraculous breakthroughs for you and your family, talk to Him!

God longs for us to initiate conversation with Him regarding the things that weigh heavy on us. Matthew 11:28 reminds us we are able to come to Him and He will give us rest and lighten our loads. If it is big enough to worry about, I assure you, it is big enough to pray about. Moreover, God loves when we converse specifically, talking to Him about the details of our prayers.

When we pray a blanket statement such as, “Lord, bless my family this year.” We are prone to falling into patterns of ungratefulness, we simply don’t notice when things are, in deed, blessing our family. Yet, when we ask Him for the details, when they occur, the glory, unmistakably, goes to the One who masters the breakthroughs! God!

This year, as we embark on these 21 days of setting ourselves to seek the presence of the Lord, I pray you would take God at His word. He who has promised is indeed faithful. Pray specific prayers, and watch for specific breakthroughs. Your valley of trouble can, and very well may become your valley of victory—all it takes is a conversation.

I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his descendants begging bread. He is ever merciful, and lends; And his descendants are blessed. Psalms 37:25-26 (NKJV)

  22. Are you walking through a trial right now? Can you feel the fiery challenge licking at your heels? Congratulations! You are one step closer to the perfectly designed destiny God has crafted for your life.

As I have told my congregation many times, the only people who have no conflict in their lives are in the cemetery. If you are breathing, you will have conflict. When something comes your way, give God thanks that you are in the perfect position to hand Him your problems and then move aside and allow Him to fight your giants!
